The question isn’t how much AI you used. It’s what the work produced.

The hard part isn’t the bill. It’s the absence of a reference point. You can see what you spent. What you can’t see is whether your cost per deliverable is normal for a company your size, whether your peers have it measured at the team and feature level or are still eyeballing it, or whether the number you took to your board last quarter would hold up next to the number the company across the table took to theirs.

That reference point doesn’t exist publicly. So we built it, and we ran it on ourselves first. We measured $50,000 a month of our own AI spend. We tracked 700-plus skill runs in 30 days. We traced a single number end to end, from spend to the result it produced. Several design partners are now running the same method. These are working numbers from live design partners, not a hypothetical.

This Customer Advisory Board is a working session, not a briefing. We’ll put the method on the table and ask you to break it:

  • The method: Label the work, watch it weekly, and compare like with like.
  • The two tallies: What you can prove in weeks (cost per deliverable, cost per account, hours given back translated into dollars) versus what takes a quarter to show (retention, revenue per person, how many accounts one person can carry).
  • The capacity test: Can one person carry 50 percent more work on less than 50 percent more AI spend?
  • Where we disagree: We’ll use that as the starting point for debate, not smooth it over.

We’ll also show you where CloudZero is heading and ask you to tell us where we’re wrong. The roadmap conversations that shaped the last three releases started in rooms like this one.

You’ll leave able to answer:

  • Which outcome denominators peers have found defensible, whether that’s cost per customer, per transaction, or per workflow, and which ones fell apart under scrutiny.
  • What your peers report to their boards on AI, at what cadence, and with what caveats.
  • Where the practice is heading over the next four quarters, and what to build toward now.

Every AI dollar. Every outcome. Connected. That’s the work, and this is the room where we pressure test how it’s actually going.

Attendance is limited to keep the conversation candid. Sessions are not recorded and nothing shared is attributed outside the room.
