Why this matters

AI Signals adds a standard set of AI dimensions to your dimension picker, plus custom dimensions built from your own data. Not every team needs all of them. The ones you don’t use make the ones you want harder to find.

Cleaning that up used to require an engineer to run a script every time an account team needed a change. We identified the bottleneck and automated it, so account teams can manage dimensions themselves and engineering stays focused on product work.

What we built

Your CloudZero account team can hide individual AI dimensions from the picker. A hidden dimension stays available for building other dimensions, so your data stays intact. The change applies to standard AI dimensions and custom ones, and it can be reversed later.

How it works

Ask your CloudZero account team which AI dimensions you want hidden or turned off. They handle the rest.

  • Hide removes a dimension from the dimension picker. You can still use it to build other dimensions.
  • Changes go out together as one batch. If any change in the batch fails, for example because of a name conflict, none of them are applied, so your list never ends up partly updated.
  • Every change can be undone, so a hidden or disabled dimension can be brought back later.
