Today’s feature: Cost and Usage Explorer
When your spend moves, do you know whether usage drove it, or whether something else changed? Answering that used to take a custom dashboard. Now it’s one view.
What it is
Explorer shows usage metrics alongside cost in the same chart and table – EC2 CPU hours next to EC2 cost, plus S3 GB-months, Lambda requests, and other provider-normalized metrics. Overlay a usage line on the cost chart, apply the same dimension groupings to both, and cost and consumption stay aligned in one view.
What it means
When spend moves, you see immediately whether usage drove it. The correlation that took a custom dashboard to surface is just there. Faster answers, less setup.
